Take part in a council training workshop, or training program

If you want to learn more about council and learn to facilitate for your organization, group or community, we offer council training workshops that are open to the public.

We also provide tailored programs for non-profits and for-profit organizations including immersive workshops and retreats to extended coaching. 

If you'd like to experience council for yourself, take part in one of our online social connection councils.

The long answer:  We believe that there has never been as immense a need for us all to stop and listen to one another and to seek cooperative solutions to our shared human challenges—and this is precisely what Beyond Us & Them both supports and achieves in its programs with at-risk communities, as well as in its professional staff trainings. Listening from the heart is one of the core values underlying all of our programming. We are deeply committed to the work we do in the world and to building a movement of mindful, heartfelt, compassion-based community building.

We are energized by your care and partnership in whatever way is meaningful to you. We are eager to expand our grant-funded programming and offer our training and consultancy services to a wide array of potential partners. Financial support provides essential operating dollars to help Beyond Us & Them grow its capacity and increase the delivery of its innovative compassion-based programming. Without financial contributions, our organization cannot survive.

We rely on our growing family of partners who have capacity and a desire to provide resources for bringing compassion and cohesion to a world in need, and whose philanthropic values are congruent with ours.
